Love: a week of 24-7 Prayer

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

(Ephesians 3:17-19)

 

It has been such a lovely start to this week of 24-7 as all slots have been filled so far.  Friends seeing slots open in the middle of the night and showing up only to find another brother in the Lord praying already.  Exhales of rest and joy as folks step back into the prayer room crafted with such love by Charis, Emily, Jordan, Danny, Tim and others.  Opportunities to pray for the Holy Spirit to confirm sonship on our new friend who found his way into the prayer room.  What was once heavy and confusing became light yoked and loving.  Hallelujah. 

I'm just back from praying with my friend Ed.  It was a rich time to remember our Father and His love for us.  You might consider finding a friend to join you if you have an upcoming slot.  It's a lovely time of communion.

it felt like coming home after a time away. Warm, inviting, cozy and filled with the Holy Spirit. When I reflect on how that property was used in the past, and how God has redeemed it for His glory, I know He is pleased.

Such great work. Thanks for the privilege of worshiping our great god in the prayer garage.

I have also felt a sense of home in that room in my hours there this week. The presence of the Holy Spirit is so rich there and has been such a blessing to me!
